This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.
Need an Official Docket or Record?
Use the following official routes for common Barton County requests:
- A docket sheet: run a case search through the statewide portal, or request the docket from the clerk of court
- A court date or setting: check the court calendar, or confirm the setting with the clerk of court
- Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
- A specific case: look it up with a case search by party name or case number
- Court records and case files: see court records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
For state-court dockets and records, contact Martha Rivas, Clerk of the District Court, Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main Street, Suite 306, Great Bend, KS 67530. The records office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call 620-793-1856, fax 620-793-1860, or email Martha.Rivas@kscourts.gov. Confirm current hours before a special trip.
Ask Suite 306 about the Kansas Supreme Court Rule 22 public terminal when the internet view is incomplete. A specific public court-record request may also use the Kansas court KORA form. The Kansas Open Records Act permits written requests and actual-cost charges, but it does not override a sealing order or a law that makes a record confidential. City ordinance matters must go to the municipal clerk that keeps that docket.
